NVIDIA released Ising on April 14, the first family of open-source AI models targeting practical quantum computing. The suite has two components: Ising Calibration, a vision-language model that automates quantum processor calibration and cuts turnaround from days to hours; and Ising Decoding, 3D CNN models for real-time quantum error correction that are up to 2.5× faster and 3× more accurate than the open-source pyMatching baseline. Early adopters include IonQ, Infleqtion, Harvard, Fermilab, Sandia National Laboratories, and roughly a dozen other labs and universities.
