Meta is raising prices on its Quest 3 and Quest 3S VR headsets effective April 19: Quest 3 goes from $499 to $599 (+$100), Quest 3S 128GB to $350 (+$50), and Quest 3S 256GB to $450 (+$50), with refurbished units seeing matching increases. Meta attributed the move to a RAM shortage driven by AI companies competing for memory chips for data centers, a dynamic also affecting Samsung, Microsoft, and Sony hardware. The company said it does not plan to raise prices on its Ray-Ban smart glasses.
