Built with deepset's open-source Haystack framework, Thunderbolt supports MCP servers, ACP agents, and user-chosen models — commercial or open-source — and runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Organizations can self-deploy with optional end-to-end encryption; a hosted beta for smaller teams is opening for sign-ups.
