A private Discord community exploited credentials from a third-party contractor to access Anthropic's Mythos on the same day it was publicly announced, providing Bloomberg with screenshots and live demonstrations. The breach bypasses Project Glasswing, Anthropic's controlled-access program that limits Mythos to vetted enterprise partners like Apple due to concerns the model could be weaponized by cybercriminals. Anthropic said it is "investigating a report claiming unauthorized access" and found "no evidence that the supposedly unauthorized activity has impacted Anthropic's systems."
