Anthropic released Claude Opus 4.7 on April 16, generally available across the API, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, and Microsoft Foundry at the same price as Opus 4.6 ($5/M input, $25/M output). The model's maximum image resolution rises to 2,576 pixels on the long edge (~3.75 megapixels), more than 3x prior Opus models, with corresponding gains on professional multimodal tasks. On CursorBench the new model clears 70% of tasks versus 58% for Opus 4.6, and achieves state-of-the-art on the GDPval-AA economically-valuable-knowledge-work evaluation.
