Recursive Superintelligence, a London AI lab founded in December 2025 by former Salesforce chief scientist Richard Socher and UCL professor Tim Rocktäschel (ex-Google DeepMind principal scientist), has raised at least $500M in a pre-Series A round led by GV and Nvidia at a $4B pre-money valuation, with potential to reach $1B. Reported by The Decoder on April 18, the company's goal is to eliminate human involvement from the AI training loop — automating evaluation, data selection, training, post-training, and research direction. The team of ~20 includes alumni from OpenAI, Google, and Meta, and a public launch is planned for mid-May 2026.
