At its What's Next with AWS 2026 event, Amazon launched Amazon Quick as a native desktop app for Windows and Mac that monitors calendar, email, files, and connected apps to proactively surface insights and draft responses without waiting to be prompted. The assistant integrates with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Salesforce, Slack, Airtable, and Dropbox, and can generate documents, presentations, and images directly in chat. Free and Plus tiers are available with no AWS account required, and Amazon says it does not use Quick data to train other models. The launch puts AWS directly in competition with Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini for the enterprise AI assistant market.
