Honor Humanoid Robot Runs Beijing Half-Marathon in 50:26, Beating Human World Record

Honor's bipedal humanoid won the Beijing E-Town Half Marathon on April 19, 2026, completing 21 km in 50 minutes and 26 seconds—faster than any human ever recorded and ahead of all 12,000 human competitors. The robot uses legs designed at ~95 cm to match elite-athlete proportions and a liquid-cooling system largely developed in-house. More than 100 robot teams competed, nearly five times the 2025 field; the 2025 robot winner took 2 hours and 40 minutes to finish the same course.
