AWS and Anthropic made Claude Platform on AWS generally available on May 11, 2026, the first cloud provider to offer access to Anthropic's native platform. Developers access the full Claude API, Claude Console, Managed Agents, code execution, web search, Files API, Skills, and MCP connector through existing AWS accounts using IAM authentication and a single AWS invoice; audit logs flow through CloudTrail. Customer data is processed outside the AWS security boundary. Opus 4.7, Sonnet 4.6, and Haiku 4.5 are available at launch across 17+ regions in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia Pacific.
