Defense AI startup Shield AI closed a $1.5 billion Series G co-led by Advent International and JPMorgan Chase's Security and Resiliency Initiative at a $12.7 billion post-money valuation, up 140% from its $5.3 billion mark in March 2025. A concurrent $500 million non-dilutive fixed-return preferred financing was led by Blackstone. The raise follows Shield AI's selection as a U.S. Air Force Collaborative Combat Aircraft drone prototype provider. Proceeds fund the acquisition of tactical simulation company Aechelon and scaling of the Hivemind autonomy platform. The company projects FY2026 revenue exceeding $540 million, representing over 80% year-over-year growth.
